REQUIREMENTS

• South African citizen
• Code B driver’s license and own transport
• Must be willing to be available after hours and weekends

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Source transport requirements and match loads with suitable carriers
• Negotiate rates with clients and transporters to maximize profitability
• Manage day-to-day planned loads from booking to final delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and transporters
• Ensure on-time collections and deliveries
• Track shipments and provide updates to clients on time
• Resolve operational issues, delays, or disputes effectively
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed timeously
• Maintain compliance with company policies and transport legislation
• Track profitability per load and report on performance
• Confirm Demurrages – date of delivery with client
• Ensure there are no additional cost to company or client
• Meet company targets monthly/annually
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required

• Grade 12
• Own reliable transport
• Transport and logistics knowledge
• Strong in Sales and communication
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Energetic team player
• Strong systematic work ethic
• Advanced computer literacy will be an advantage
• Experience in transport logistics brokering will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of road freight, routing, and transport pricing
• Proven negotiation and sales ability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
